Thera Cane Massager Review

The product I am reviewing today is called the Thera Cane Massager. I have done a video review on it at my YouTube channel here that you can watch and I added footage of me using it on my therapy dog Stella for canine lovers and owners. It currently runs for $40.00 in stores and $31.48 on Amazon.

This product is 24x15x1, weighs .16 ounces, and is waterproof. It is a hard plastic the 6 knobs on it that can be used to massage various parts of the body. The product comes with a booklet that shows different areas of the body to use the Thera Cane Massager as well as showing various trigger points on the body that can be accessed with the Thera Cane Massager. For those interested, you can find this product here.

In my video, I focus more on acupressure or acupuncture points than trigger points, but either way the Thera Cane Massager nicely accesses both if you know where to locate them. In terms of travel, the company has a travel-friendly Thera Cane Massager, which they kindly sent to me after seeing the review video I did for the original Thera Cane Massager. I will be doing a short video on that in the near future. If you are interested in that product, you can find it here.

Here are a couple of photos of using the Thera Cane Massager...
Small Intestine 14 is just at the inner/top border of the scapula
Urinary Bladder 38 is halfway between the top and bottom of the scapula and just inside the edge of the scapula border

Breathe deeply and slowly when using your Thera Cane Massager to get the maximum benefits
Okay, so here are the pros and cons...

PROS
I really like the ability to apply pressure to sore and tight areas on my body, particularly acupressure points, that I cannot get to with my own hands and fingers. I really like the different types of knobs. Some are short, some are long, and some are at a curve. This provides for angling into points, which is awesome. I also like the sturdiness of this product. I think that even the strongest of people can press into their points and not break this Thera Cane Massager. I like that the knobs are a good size for different body shapes and sizes. I also like that I can engage my core to get an added core workout when using it on the tops of my thighs.

CONS
I would have liked the knobs to have a rubber cover that decreased the slippage factor. I used to have another product like this that is no longer being made and it had a rubber tip. Once in place that tip did not slip, which I really liked. The Thera Cane Massager will slip, so you need to be careful and effectively control your massager. I show an example of this in the video. I also show in the video how this massage tool may or may not fit in certain suitcases. You will have to watch the video to see it for yourself. But I will say that there are only certain sized suitcases that fit this massage tool. So make sure you are taking a suitcase big enough or get the travel Thera Cane Massager that I linked up at the beginning of this post.

To see me using this massage tool on my dog Stella, you will have to check out the video clip at the end of this YouTube video, which I linked at the top of this post. If you are interested in classes on using this product or more information about acupressure points or canine acupressure massage, make sure to fill out your email on my email link at the right of my blog site or at the bottom of this post in the comment section or email link.

Make sure to follow me on my other social media platforms. I have them linked below. Comment on how you like this product and thank you for your support with purchasing from the links I provide so I can continue to be compensated for the work I do to bring you quality reviews on the massive number of wellness products that are out there to try.

As an ending note, I want to say that self-acupressure and self-massage are excellent counter-pain strategies if you have chronic pain or chronic tension and stress. I have a few videos on counter-pain strategies that you can check out here. Self-care is an excellent way to improve your posture, decrease pain and stress, and enhance your overall wellness. I highly encourage you to learn more about your body, about the acupressure/acupuncture points, and how to access these potent points through self-acupressure and self-massage.

Till my next product review...Happy Posturing!!
